Maternal Order Foundational Black american women

MoFBAW is building a campus in Texas: one piece of ground that holds everything a community needs to gather, heal, learn, and build wealth, run by Foundational Black American women and the people we serve.

The campus holds:

• The Welcome Center, where business meetings, concerts, and community gatherings happen
• The Foundation Library, built for our history, our children, and our future
• The Art Center, a gallery and museum space for Foundational Black American art and history
• The first wing of Elldwnia Memorial Center, a licensed health and wellness clinic open to the community now, the foundation of a hospital we are building wing by wing
• The Summer Academy, a camp for Black American children, launching a full year before the campus opens its doors
• A campus utility building, powered by its own solar and battery infrastructure, the first step toward Black-owned energy in Texas
• Black Wall Street II, a business district growing on the land around the campus, built for Black-owned businesses to lease, build, and thrive

This is not one building. It is an ecosystem. A child goes to camp in the morning. A mother takes a business class in the afternoon. A grandmother gets her checkup at the clinic. A Black-owned restaurant feeds all three that night.

Why This Matters

Black Wall Street is the name everyone remembers, the wealth that was built and burned to the ground in a single day. It is not the only one. This time, we are not asking permission to build power. We are pooling it ourselves, on our own ground, run by our own hands.
