Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Matriarch Bootcamp and Gynocracy?

What is the difference between Matriarch Bootcamp and Gynocracy?

Matriarch Bootcamp is the training. It is the six pillar immersive program where you learn how to govern your family, build your business, fund your emergency account, and lead with intention. Gynocracy is what you join after. It is the movement, the network, the community, and the sisterhood that exists beyond the bootcamp. You complete the training. You enter the government. One prepares you. The other sustains you.

How do I join a chapter?

What is the difference between Matriarch Bootcamp and Gynocracy?

Chapters are being built city by city across America. Find your city on our chapter map and connect with your local Gynocracy Ambassador. If there is no chapter in your city yet, apply to become the founding Ambassador and build it yourself. We will train you, support you, and stand behind you every step of the way.

What is the Honey Pot?

What is the Honey Pot?

The Honey Pot is your family bank account. Every member of your family contributes to it monthly, just like a church tithe or a union due. It is not a personal account. It belongs to the family. It covers emergencies, funerals, medical crises, and any situation that requires the family to show up financially for one of its own. A matriarch governs it. She sets the rules, collects the contributions, and protects every dollar. The Honey Pot is what keeps a family standing when life tries to knock it down.

Is this anti-men?

What is the Honey Pot?

Not even close. Gynocracy is not about standing above the man of the house. It is about standing beside him with a clear lane and a defined role. He leads. She governs. Together the family runs like the organization it was always meant to be. We believe strong women build stronger families and stronger families build stronger men. This is not a movement against anyone. It is a movement for everyone a matriarch loves.

How do I become a Chapter Ambassador?

A Chapter Ambassador is a woman who has completed Matriarch Bootcamp, lives the Gynocracy standard in her own home, and is ready to build her community up. To apply you must be a Gynocracy member in good standing, have completed at least one full bootcamp cycle, and be committed to hosting monthly High Tea events in your city. Applications are reviewed personally by Ella English. This is not a franchise. It is a calling. If you feel it, apply.

What comes in the product box?

How do I become a Chapter Ambassador?

Every Matriarch Bootcamp student receives a curated product box built around the pillars of the program. Inside you will find hand poured candles made to set the atmosphere of a governed home, bath salts for the woman who pours into everyone else and needs someone to pour into her, handcrafted soaps, seasonal home goods, and exclusive Gynocracy branded items you cannot find anywhere else. Every item is made with intention. Every item is an extension of the standard we teach inside the bootcamp. The box is not a gift bag. It is a tool kit.

The Honey Pot: Everything You Need to Know

1. What exactly is the Honey Pot and where did the concept come from?

The Honey Pot is your family treasury. It is a dedicated bank account that belongs to the entire family, not to any one person. Every family member contributes to it monthly without exception. The concept comes from two of the oldest and most proven financial systems in American culture. The church and the union. Churches have collected tithes for centuries and used that money to support their congregation in times of need. Unions collect dues from every member and use those funds to protect workers when the system fails them. The Honey Pot takes that same proven model and brings it inside your front door. Your family is your congregation. Your family is your union. And now your family has a treasury to match.

2. Who controls the Honey Pot and how is it governed?

The Matriarch governs the Honey Pot. She opens the account, sets the contribution amounts, collects the deposits, and maintains the records. However she does not govern it alone. The Honey Pot operates under a set of family agreed rules that every contributing member votes on and signs off on before a single dollar is deposited. Who can request a withdrawal. How much can be withdrawn without a full family vote. What qualifies as an emergency. How long a member has to repay borrowed funds. These rules are written down, agreed upon, and kept on file. The Matriarch enforces them consistently and without favoritism. She is the treasurer, not the owner. The family owns it together. She protects it for all of them.

3. How much should every family member contribute to the Honey Pot?

There is no single right answer because every family's financial situation is different. What matters is consistency, not amount. Start with what every member can commit to without fail. Even ten dollars a month from every family member builds something real over time. A family of ten contributing twenty five dollars each monthly generates three thousand dollars a year without a single sacrifice. As incomes grow contributions grow with them. The Matriarch reviews contribution amounts twice a year, every January and every July, and adjusts based on what the family can sustain. Children contribute too. Even five dollars a month from a child with a small allowance teaches them that the family treasury is everyone's responsibility. That lesson is worth more than the five dollars.

4. What qualifies as a Honey Pot emergency and who decides?

This is the most important conversation your family will have before the Honey Pot opens. Because if you do not define an emergency in advance, everything becomes one. Sit your family down and agree on the list together. Common qualifications include job loss, medical expenses not covered by insurance, funeral and burial costs, car breakdown required for work, housing emergencies including eviction or storm damage, and mental health crisis requiring treatment. Once the list is agreed upon it is written down and signed by every contributing member. When someone requests a withdrawal the Matriarch checks the request against the list. If it qualifies she processes it according to the agreed rules. If it does not qualify the answer is no regardless of who is asking. The rules protect everyone including the Matriarch from being pressured into decisions that drain the fund for non emergencies.

5. What happens when a family member stops contributing or wants to withdraw more than they have put

This is where the governance document does its most important work. Every family agreed before the first deposit was made what happens in these situations. A member who misses a contribution is given a grace period of thirty days to make it up. After thirty days their access to emergency funds is suspended until they are current. A member who wants to withdraw more than they have contributed is borrowing from the family treasury. Borrowing is allowed under specific conditions, a clear repayment plan, a timeline, and family approval for amounts above a set threshold. The Matriarch tracks every contribution, every withdrawal, and every repayment in writing. Transparency is what keeps the Honey Pot from becoming a source of family conflict. When everyone can see the numbers there is nothing to argue about.

6. How do you grow the Honey Pot beyond monthly contributions?

Monthly contributions are the foundation. But a Matriarch does not stop at the foundation. The Honey Pot grows through family fundraisers run just like a Girl Scout cookie drive. Every family member participates. Every dollar raised goes directly into the treasury. Holiday sales, bake sales, garage sales, car washes, Gynocracy product sales. Anything the family can do together to generate income feeds the Honey Pot. Beyond fundraisers the Matriarch explores interest bearing accounts, certificates of deposit, and eventually family investment vehicles that make the Honey Pot work while the family sleeps. The goal is not just an emergency fund. The goal is a family treasury that grows into a generational wealth account. What starts as protection becomes a legacy. That is the full power of the Honey Pot and that is exactly what Gynocracy teaches you to build.

Completing Matriarch Bootcamp is your qualification for Gynocracy membership but it is not automatic. Think of it this way. Bootcamp is the academy. Gynocracy is the force you join after you graduate. When you complete the six pillar bootcamp program you have earned the right to enter the network. At the close of every bootcamp Ella personally extends the invitation to every woman in the room. From that moment you choose. You can take everything you learned and apply it on your own. Or you can step into a national community of women who are building the same thing you are building, in cities across America, holding each other accountable every single month. Most women who complete the bootcamp choose to join Gynocracy. Because once you have been in a room full of women who govern the way you govern, going back to doing it alone is no longer an option.

No. And that boundary is intentional. Gynocracy is not a general women's group. It is not a social club. It is not something you join because you heard about it and liked the name. Every woman inside Gynocracy has done the work. She has sat through the six pillars. She has built her village roster, funded her Honey Pot, launched her business concept, and committed to the Gynocracy creed. That shared foundation is what makes the network powerful. When you connect with a Gynocracy member in Atlanta or Houston or Chicago you already know she has been through the same training you have. You already speak the same language. You already operate from the same standard. That trust is only possible because every member earned her seat the same way. Through the bootcamp. No shortcuts. No exceptions.

Matriarch Bootcamp gives you the tools, the training, the curriculum, and the product box. It is an intense focused program with a beginning, a middle, and an end. Gynocracy has no end. It is the ongoing infrastructure that keeps everything the bootcamp built alive and growing. Inside Gynocracy you have access to a national directory of women organized by city and profession so you can build your village roster across state lines. You have monthly group calls hosted by Ella covering topics that go deeper than the bootcamp curriculum. You have a private community where members share resources, refer each other business, celebrate wins, and show up during hard seasons. You have early access to every new bootcamp city, every High Tea event, and every new program before it opens to the public. You have a local chapter where women in your city gather monthly under the Gynocracy standard. The bootcamp changes how you think. Gynocracy changes how you live. Every single month for the rest of your life.

Is Gynocracy Anti-Men: The Full Truth

The name Gynocracy sounds like it is about women taking over. Is that what this is?

We understand why the name raises the question. Gynocracy means the governance of women. And yes, inside your family that is exactly what we teach. But governance is not domination. A governor does not eliminate everyone around her. She creates systems that make everything around her function better. When a city has a strong mayor the city runs better. When a family has a strong matriarch the family runs better. That includes the men in it. Your husband, your sons, your brothers, and your fathers all benefit directly when the woman at the center of the family knows exactly what she is doing. The bills are paid. The insurance is current. The emergency fund exists. The business is generating income. The family has a plan. Every person inside that family wins when the matriarch governs well. Every person including the men. Gynocracy is not about taking power from men. It is about women finally owning the power they have always exercised without recognition, without training, and without a network to support them.

What is the role of the man of the house inside a Gynocracy household?

He leads. She governs. Those are two different and equally important roles and Gynocracy is crystal clear about the distinction. Leadership sets the vision and the direction of the family. Governance builds the systems that make the vision possible. A man who leads his family well needs a woman beside him who can govern the infrastructure that holds everything together. He makes the big calls. She makes sure the foundation those calls rest on is solid. The bills are paid. The insurance is active. The Honey Pot is funded. The children have a pediatrician, a college plan, and a work ethic. The business is running. That is not competition. That is partnership with clearly defined lanes. Gynocracy does not ask women to sit above their partner. It asks them to stand fully and unapologetically in their own lane. When both people are doing their job completely the family does not just survive. It builds something that lasts generations.

My husband is skeptical. What would you say to him directly?

Your wife is about to learn how to pay off your family's debt faster, build an emergency fund that protects your household when life gets hard, launch a business that generates income beyond your paycheck, make sure every person you love has life insurance and burial coverage, connect with a national network of resourceful women who can refer your family to the right doctor, lawyer, realtor, and financial advisor in any city in America, and govern your home with the kind of intention and strategy that most families only wish they had. She is going to come home from Matriarch Bootcamp with a plan, a network, a product box, and a fire that does not go out. The only thing Gynocracy asks of you is to let her stand fully in her role the way you stand fully in yours. Strong women build strong families. Strong families build strong men. This is not a threat to what you have built together. It is the upgrade your family has been waiting for.
